Hello, my name is Lauren Townsend and I am a graduate of Central Missouri State University with a degree in commercial art with an emphasis in graphic design and illustration. I have been in the field for a year, while staying active in the Kansas City Advertising Club as well as the Kansas City art community. My main focus has been graphic design, but even with my love for computer-aided design, I feel I will always enjoy illustration because I continue to maintain my love for traditional media. I have been interested in art ever since I knew what it was and it is a deep passion of mine. I cannot imagine doing anything else. Art is not something I do for a living, but rather, something I am living to do.
